Create and Connect your Twitter Bot Account

To start using NFTBOT.app and tweet the latest sales of your NFT project, you must create and configure a Twitter account for your bot.

Let's see how to do that together.

1| Create a new Twitter account for your Bot

If you don't already have a Twitter account for your bot, create one with a name matching your brand like @CoolCatsNFTBot.

2| Mark the Twitter account as automated

Marking your Twitter account as a bot can prevent it from being flagged when it generates a high volume of tweets.

Follow these steps to do so:

• Go to your new Twitter account dashboard

• Go to "Settings and Privacy"

• Select "Your account"

• Select "Your account information"

• Enter your password and confirm

• Select "Automation"

• Select "Set up account automation"

• Enter the bot username and password

Link your API key and secret

As Twitter changed in April 2023 the way to access their API and the price per request, we took the decision to ask each of our customers to configure their Twitter Bot as a "developer account" on Twitter, allowing the access to the API.
